Traditionally, the most beautiful works from the archives of the Gostyń monastery can be heard at the annual Musica Sacromontana festival. Both Józef Zeidler and Anton Hoffmeister deserve the attention of the audience; their compositions are distinguished not only by the excellent technique typical of mature Classical period creators, but also by melodic and expressive invention. The CD includes an inspired concert performance made in the excellent acoustics of the Holy Mountain Basilica.
